No. They lost by 1 point on the road to the #3 team.

Let’s see how he does @ Penn State

I think being "The" Ohio State HC automatically puts you into this category.

They were a terrible shank from their bitch kicker against Georgia in 2022 from murdering TCU for a national championship.

I think expectations are sky high every year for Day and OSU. It's been a decade since a title and the natives are restless.

I think OSU fans wanting him gone have to look around the landscape and see who they really think would come in and be better.

They say Vrabel, but he hated recruiting and will likely have a number of NFL jobs this offseason. They want to bring Meyer back which is hilarious. Meyer brought in Day as OC partly because the game was passing him by.

Are there guys who could go to OSU and be really damn good? Yea there are probably 20 spread across the country who would take the job who are either in OC/DC jobs in the NFL or at really good G5 or P4 spots doing a good job.

I think OSU fans need to ride this season out and see where the chips fall. He lost last weekend by 1 on the road, and a lot of people think the OPI was a crap call and the 12 men on the field was bad b/c it could have been an unsportsmanlike 15 yard penalty and Howard potentially started his slide at 1 second. That's 3 plays in 20 seconds that could alter a game like that. OSU caught some breaks, Oregon caught some breaks and it was a really good game among 2 teams who people had penciled in as National Champs in August

Why would Ohio State get rid of a top 3 coach in the country?

We cannot know this, given losses we’ve seen OSU take. They could lose to anybody just like Alabama now.

Who do You replace him with? I do not see a home run hire out there. Let's see how the season plays out.

He pretty much has no terrible losses, right? Other than the COVID natty game, have there been any blowouts?

I think the heat should be on to make the semis with this team, but if they lose a round or two earlier, I don't think it's worth firing him. He's overall a really good play caller and program manager.

Letting an 87 year old Lou Holtz get under your skin is all you need to know about that guy.

Nick Saban broke the brains of fanbases. Fans of elite teams think that their school should play for a national championship every year and win one every other year. It ain't that easy. Day is in his sixth season at Ohio State, Kirby Smart didn't win a national championship until his sixth season at Georgia. I don't like the guy, but Ohio State is in the hunt pretty much every season. One year, he's gonna break through.

I love how the narrative at first was “Ohio St will beat an overrated Oregon by two scores easy” and now it’s “woah they lost to the #3 team let’s not act like they’re not a top 5 team still”

I called people out for that last week & said Oregon probably wins. Obviously they were wrong.

Every buckeye podcast except for one is as pathetic as the most of the posters here.

They want to go on about the OPI and the 12 men on the field.

They don’t want to discuss that they were gifted 7 points. They don’t talk about all the time mismanaged away on their final drive.

If that team/offense knew what they were doing they get a chance to get a field goal and Lanning isn’t in a position to use that move.

On one play alone, the bucks let 7 seconds go because the team/offense didn’t realize the play clock would start.

But no, it’s not them that screwed themselves. It was the refs and Lanning.

Wake up and look at what you’re stepping in.
