Exactly. The two new SEC teams finished tied for 5th and tied for 10th. Sure showed the SEC

A&M beat 1 team. Other than that they lost to the teams they were suppose to lose to and beat the ones they should have. Good season but 3rd in your division doesn't deserve a parade.

last year TAMU lost to:

Arkansas
OSU (by 1 fricking point )
Missouri (wtf loss in OT)
OU
KSU
Texas

they had 1 bad loss and lost to better teams, otherwise

big upgrade at QB
big upgrade at coach

held on to beat the top 3 team (unlike last year) don't play a top-5 team on the road, and don't have a wtf loss and that makes up the losses. it's not rocket science

Meh, SEC had 6 good teams this year

Yeah just 6 schools, who all just happen to be ranked in the top 10

SEC is overrated. They have lucked out the last few years by not being exposed as a sham conference

The SEC is strong at the top this year, maybe the strongest it's been in a long time. The rest is pretty bad thou. I think the thing that bugs people is how SEC fans always claim other teams couldn't possibly compete in the SEC yet you're seeing A&M have success this year. I used to hear it all the time about USC's run with Carroll. "usc" would be 6-6 in the SEC

Plus Mizzou is now in the SEC.

Missouri went 8-5 (5-4) last year in the Big 12. Now they are 5-7 (2-6).

other than what i said earlier in this thread, let's not forget the "cam newton rule"

if you acquire the best player in CFB, you can compete in the SEC

except the top is nearly half the conference. 6 teams that will finish in the top 12. anyone making fun of that is a damn fool.

They were 9-3 in 2010, last year they lost several close games where they blew big leads, including one to an SEC team, Arkansas. Sure looked like a tweak here or there, like hiring a better coach and getting a great QB would make a difference.

Every sec meat rider was laughing when they joined the league. They thought a&m would get curb stomped by every sec team. That didn't happen thus the exposal.

They caught Bama just after they had battled with LSU, they would not beat Bama again. They were in the top 6 in SEC if that makes you moist though.

People forget that TAMU was a very good team just two years ago and last year lost every single game by virtue of shitting the bed in the second half.

Now they've got a huge upgrade at head coach and a Heisman QB. That being the case, they'll still finish third in the West and beat whoever they get in a bowl.

I really don't see how they "exposed the SEC".

they must have forgotten arkansas having to mount a huge comeback last year to win

plus, NOBODY (including the TAMU coaching staff) thought they'd be trotting out the best player in CFB in 2012

Did anyone forsee that Manziel would be a Vick/Newton hybrid kind of QB?

How many SEC teams are in the Top 10 chief?

How many titles will it be if it happens again this year?

Is A&M good without Johnny Football? Was he there with Sumlin last year?

:i'll wait for your response:

Or we could focus on mizzou who had nothing new and got waxed by just about everyone in the conference.
