He's not trying to keep his welfare by blowing interviews
Miles has not been interviewing seriously. It would take a major offer for him to walk away from his LSU payday. I don't believe he wants it, but might be persuaded to coach again, especially as a highly-paid, short term placeholder with little pressure.

If he won at OSU while O flopped at LSU, the melt would rival any in the history of tRant.
I actually came a little just thinking ab
O is 2-0 vs Aggie......Aggies press for Aranda caused LSU to pay the man......Which in turn let him hire a safety coach......that had the in roads to Joe Burrow......
Thanks Aggie........O is gonna get to 4-0 now

Nope, not going to happen.
No one who wore the Maize and Blue will ever coach the Scarlet and Gray.
The best fits for the Buckeyes, if Meyer is gone are:
1) Mike Vrabel
2) Bob Stoops
3) Mark Dantonio
4) Tom Herman, all of whom have strong Ohio connections.
Although getting the 3 currently coaching to leave their present job might be difficult.
