The backlash here would have been crazy had Lebron made that exact same statement. This thread is a good example. I rarely post in this types of threads anymore because I don't really care, but this is ridiculous. He was asked a question about playing the 4, and he said that it is more physical. Where is the "excuse"?

And logic does not exist Around here when discussing lebron.
no kidding.
here's the first problem: you're a LEBRON FAN. Most people don't think like that.... I was never a Yao or TMAC fan, I'm a rockets fan. Your undying support of him makes it difficult to take you seriously.

Here is my problem with it. He has to play more minutes because a starter is out. He also has to play a bigger position. We know that, its obvious. But when he adds that it is more 'taxing' on his body, that is where he is setting himself up to be in the clear if they lose. Obviously its harder on your body. He should've said, it sucks that Bosh is out and that means everybody is going to have to play more minutes and play positions they aren't comfortable with. Then its a non-issue.

Exactly. If you don't see Lebron trying to give himself an out with this, well I don't know what else to say.

Why is he bitching about playing power forward when its obviously NOT that taxing to his body. It isn't like asking Magic to play PF or hell even C.
I don't think playing PF is the issue, the issue is that he has played 43 of 48 minutes the last 2 games WHILE playing the 4. So not only does he have a heavier work load, he has to do it against people that are bigger than him.
His comments don't warrant any kind of reaction from the I hate Lebron crowd.
ETA: Not that it matters anyway, people that hate Lebron will continue to hate him and find new reasons to hate him.

The ones who don't take me seriously are the ones which display zero logic in regards to lebron.

How is that an excuse?

David West isn't bigger than him and is not a banger. Playing a little help D on Hilbert for a few minutes a game can't be that bad.

I'm really sad that the Pacers blew that Game 1 lead. Boy it would be amazing if LeBron failed in Round 2 against all odds.

but you edited to say it, Lebron haters make me

Okay they are the same size. If you don't think guarding a polished post player is harder than guarding Granger on the wing, you are fricking stupid.

Then its a non-issue.
By your account, he stated something that was obvious.
Therefore you'd think it should be a non issue.

He is also playing way more minutes with bosh out

I did think it was a non-issue till he added 'taxing'. He didn't need to add that. I still think its a non-issue, just find it funny that Lebron has to add that one word.

Losing just continues that same narrative and allows another year of "will lebron ever win" talk.
If they win, there is no more big Heat storyline.
That's not logical?
