Lebron had his chance to be like Mike, too bad he missed:

Wait. Lebrons four title MVPs didn’t end this thread but if he made a shot last night it would have ended this?

Everything you say should be disregarded going forward because of this comment lol

Which finals MVP did Lebron not deserve, and who actually deserved it. Please post the numbers to back up your reasoning.

He says Lebron making a shot would have ended this thread for good Lebron had a 4th qtr against the clerics down 3-2 in a series that was epic on his way to an nba title. Nobody in this thread gives a shite about actual basketball stuff
I knew the melts would be glorious this morning after that ending

LeBrick watching this vid on repeat this morning trying to figure out what he has to do
Posted on 4/23/24 at 11:17 am to TackySweater
Here's a vid showing how LeBron gets his rebounds. Cliff notes, he had no defensive assignment so he just hangs out next to the basket. He always gets to be under the basket for opponent free throws, when he flails and tips a ball to a team mate he gets credited with a rebound, but when a teammate tips a ball to him he's also credited with a rebound.

You and TackySweater are singlehandedly keeping this thread going due to yall's hatred of Lebron. It's pretty impressive actually.

Haters will keep hating and fanboys will keep making excuses for him, but the original point and title to this thread remains. Last night did not help his case. Multiple opportunities to close out a crucial must-win game on the road, and he couldn't do it. Can you admit that at least?

At this point, the only thing that these types of discussions do is attempt to pump up 2 guys that havent played in years and havent done anything that the active guy is doing.... so its a waste of time to repopulate this discussion every year
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug
Also marketing. Tiger and Jordan are the biggest marketing successes in sports history

quote:I do hate him, call me a hater. NBA used to be my favorite sport, some of my earliest memories are of watching with my dad as bird and magic battled it out, watched and enjoyed it all through the 90s and early 2000s, all those greats. Then LeBron became the biggest star because the league and the media decided he would be, and the sport went to absolute shite. The games are almost unrecognizable, and it's just shitty basketball. He broke sometime I liked and them called himself the goat for doing it. I hate that fricker

With 1:23 left in the game he scored to put the Lakers up 95-92
With 47 seconds left in the game he scored to put the Lakers up 97-95
With 16 seconds left in the game he missed a 3 pointer. The game remained tied 99-99

With the game on the line he made those must win shots more than he missed. He did miss the last 1 which is all your retards look at.
He can't score every damn possession and defend every player, especially at 39 years old.
Last night showed the opposite of what this thread is about

The difference in the game was Rui and Reaves both missing a 3 and Michael Porter Jr hitting one after jokic threw the ball away and Aaron Gordon made an insane play to save it
Rui could've hit a wide open 3 and put the Lakers up 7 with 2 minutes left. Reaves could've put them up 4 with under 2 minutes left. Both missed.
Wtf was this play by jokic tho?

I'm not even a fanboy. I'm just a basketball fan. Saying that Jordan is better than LeBron isn't a bad take at all. Saying Kobe is better is objectively a bad take.
Trying to determine the amount of killer instinct someone has is extremely subjective, and no way to really quantify that.
And yea, there were multiple opportunities to win the game. The Lakers went like 4-5 minutes without scoring a point. They went away from AD who was hot in he first half. LeBron, and the Lakers didn't deliver. LeBron had a chance to win the game with a wide open 3 to win the game, and he missed it. No excuse for that. The Nuggets are simply the better team, without a doubt.

Hey I'm just glad you're being straight forward. As you said, you hate him and the way he plays basketball, so it's going to be impossible for you to be objective when talking about him.
