That's some silly logic to defend being a detestable count

I agree with this statement and Lebron does need to stop caring. Kobe also doesn't give a shite.
But as far as being competitive, I don't think you get as far in a sport as Lebron has if you aren't super competitive. Lebron is extremely competitive, hea the best player in the league and hea still working on his game; no he's not as selfish as MJ which can hurt him sometimes. But sometimes it can be a good thing.

You guys are morons

Being a good guy is commendable. Being an a-hole isn't.

Being an a-hole is the inferior trait, not the superior one. You guys are just trying to make it seem superior in your millter lite man card dumb arse view of reality. You're fricking stupid chimps.

They're all hyper-competitive, but within that hyper-competitive environment, MJ stood out...it's the difference that raises him above LJ IMO.

Jimmy McGinty: [walks over and looks at Falco with disgust] Winners always want the ball... when the game is on the line.

This sums up my feelings on Lebron.

What was the score to that Orange bowl? 42, 43 to nothing?

It's not being an a-hole vs. being nice, it's about taking control of the team and the game because you know you're the best player on the floor. You don't pick Jordan because he yells at people in the locker room, you pick Jordan because when the game is on the line you can trust that he'll use his superior talent more effectively than LeBron. I think LeBron has turned a corner this year and in another 2-3 years this debate may not be so black and white, but at this moment Jordan is still the GOAT.

Don't disagree with you, but it doesn't translate well into competition.

You should read "The Art of War". Very basically, it points out that the job of a general is to win. You gain an advantage in any way possible, but your job is to win the battle.

Jordan was an expert at commanding his assets on the court, including his own. If he thought the best way to win was by taking over, he did so. And his teammates respected him as a player and followed his lead.

Lebron is the best player in the league nowadays for sure but it doesn't seem like he is prolific enough as a scorer to be the best ever. That and I don't think he has that extra level of competitiveness that most of the greats have had.

Yeah with the natural abilities lebron has it is conceivable to become one of the greats only being "normal competitive", not "cut your throat in your sleep" mj type intensity.

Lebron is the undisputed best player on the planet right now.

It's impossible to compare to previous greats. I'll tell you what Lebron can do, which Jordan couldn't. Play all five positions offensively and defensively at an All-Star level.

No he isn't he is not an All star at the 5 position Or the one. He can not guard a legit power forward.
Jordan has a defensive poy under his belt that everyone forgets about.

That's almost a word for word quote from Coach K on Mike and Mike this morning.

Lebron is the only player on the planet that can play all-five positions offensively and defensively at an all-star level.

I'll continue to roll with K's opinion.

I "might" be able to hook up with Eva Mendes, but it's not very likely either.

You saying Lebron would be an allstar 5?
I don't care if god said it, I don't believe it.
Btw: I hope everyone here realizes you are describing magic Johnson.

You're stupid. Ask Pau Gasol and KG. Ask Stoudemire. I would say he can play 1-4 positions at an All-Star level, but not the 5. He can actually hold his own at the 5 position though, just not quite at an All-Star level.

Yes. Marc Gasol is an all-star five. I've personally seen Lebron James give Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol absolute fits.

I don't love Lebron, but I find it hilarious when people try to diminish what he is as a player. He's the undisiputed best player on the planet right now.
