So when other players sit out, it's for rest
When LeBron sits out, who happens to be the player with the most minutes the last 5 years, it isn't about rest

My first post was literally a troll post because I knew dumbasses would think that is the reason....

And what makes you think what dorks on the internet believe has any bearing on the reality of the situation?
1) They heard it from dorks in the media, who tend to love LeBron.
and
2) It sounds like something that 2017 LeBron would do.
Unless you know for a fact that it isn't the reason, it's all just speculation anyway.

I mean if we're gonna speculate one way or the other, I think common sense would dictate rest being the more likely reason. What's the point of bashing the guy for something you're speculating about anyways?

I don't doubt that it's rest. I question the motivation of the timing of the rest.

From what I've read in this thread there are many who believe it's not about rest, it's about firing at TNT for Barkley's comments by trying to affect ratings.
That was just Madking. Please tell me you're not buying into what he says.

It is probably a mixed motive and even fan boys can see that.

but it's absurd to me a coach could be fined by the league for roster decisions.

And he is still among the tops in the league this year in minutes per game.

No that's if he woulda beaten them the prior year Bubba. Most people woulda called the cavs to win had you told them bogut curry and iggy would all be hurt and green would be suspended for a game.

Lebron is such a baby back bitch.
For other things he's done? Fair enough. For resting in this game? No. It's the second night of a back to back and their 3rd game in 4 nights. Teams with postseason aspirations rest players in this position all the time.

The hilarious thing about that game was SA led nearly the entire way and damn near won the thing (lost by single digits iirc).
I really DGAF about teams resting players. Probably some ulterior motives (or at least suspiciously convenient circumstances) surrounding this one, but, meh, it's NBD, really.

that whole thing still blows my mind. Admittedly I'm not in tune with how pro sports work, espeically not the NBA, but it's absurd to me a coach could be fined by the league for roster decisions.
I have zero problem with the league on this. They have a right to protect their product.
People aren't tuning in to watch Cleveland's JV team, and for the fans who already bought tickets, it fricks them over.

If you want to sit out do it during a home game. Don't push fans who paid to see you during your one trip to their city.

That's not the point dipshit... These guys make A TON of money.. Play ALL games... If you can't handle it.. QUIT.... WINNING at all costs has ruined the NBA...
This is A perfect example....

All Star Weekend is in a week where they get 7 days off. Couldn't they just wait?
