Kobe was winning NBA championships at 21 I think. But with the help of Shaq.

MJ obviously wasnt.

Jordan got an 18 month sabbatical for R&R

Kobe was coming off back to back short playoff runs to the second round

I'm a self-admitted LeBron hater, but hasn't the guy been pretty durable aside from this season?

Maybe he sits some games out here and there or coasts during the regular season, but he has rarely been injured for any significant length of time.

Edit:

Excluding the lockout shortened season, Lebron averages 77.2 games per year or 94.16% of games each season.

The 2011-2012 season he played in 62 of 66 games or 93.93% of games.

His lowest # of games played was his first season back in Cleveland where he only played in 69 games.

He also played in all 82 games (first time in his career) just last year.

The obsession some of you have with these guys is pretty strange to me but it's entertaining as hell. I'll go back to lurking.

LeBron, 27.1 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 8.0 apg. 25.7 PER.

Kobe, 27.3 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 6.0 apg. 23.0 PER.

Jordan, 28.7 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.5 apg. 25.2 PER.

They're actually fairly similar, except Jordan lags in assists and Kobe in efficiency.

Dogging LeBron for the groin, well, Kobe and MJ both had full seasons lost to injury. Stuff happens, and no one's bulletproof.
