The college tournament at least has schools using public funds. There is literally 0 merit in this WNBA vs NBA comparison.
This comparison is about as valid as claiming upper management from Sears should be compensated equally to Amazon.
Those pushing this bullshite agenda would be better served buying season tickets to their local WNBA franchise and tuning into their telecasts.

I saw this on buzzfeed a few weeks ago. They were also comparing top earners in women’s soccer in the US to men in European leagues. It’s a false equivalency. Someone like Messi is going to make a shite ton more than any male counterparts in the MLS too.
