In the same way I'm not a fan of people who let their personal dislike of Trump get in the way when Trump says the right thing, there really isn't anything bad about what LeBron said here. The Arbery killing is ugly.

Even the hunted comment, that video shows the guys sitting and waiting on Arbery with guns and then drawing on him as he tries to jog around them. Hunting is not the worst metaphor for their behavior.

Look, I regret engaging with Madking last night.
He said LeBron was blaming all white people for hunting black people. I disagree with that and think there is no evidence he blames all white people. I think it is vastly more likely he addresses a certain portion of the white community like tje shooters.
One of the reasons I regret engaging with Madking is that I will actually discuss things. I do think you make a good point that the worst portion of LeBron's statement is the every time portion.
There are legit bad situations, and I think the Arbery case is a bad situation. I think the every time portion is hyperbole he didn't need to use. I don't think that is a huge deal, but agree it was unnecessary and detracted from the rest of his post, which I actually thought was nice of him to do for the Arbery family.
I only used bad or offensive to respond to the posts like Madking's, and I shouldn't have even responded there for multiple reasons.

It just irritates me that lebron will exaggerate as muchas he does. It’s like he’s purposely inciting a black vs white type of situation nationwide
Like him or not, a person with as much pull as lebron needs to be more careful with his words. If anything, take the high road, send out a ‘thoughts and prayers’ tweet to the family if he feels the need.... but to go all out blacks vs whites is pretty irresponsible IMO

LeBron, as he is wont to do every time he makes a political statement, clearly has not educated himself on the record to this point to be making careless statements like that certain to cause racial division and evoke racial fear. I think the two men were in the wrong to go vigilante justice on the victim as poorly as they did but to make it a racist thing when that fact hasn't been established is clearly irresponsible and exacerbates an already bad situation.
