Also, for Bronny he may need to be looking at which teams have 2nd round picks instead.
Lebron trying to prop up his son’s draft prospects by dangling himself as a carrot. The problem is Lebron himself won’t even by a carrot in 2-3 years (and isn’t that much of one now honestly). He’d be an albatross. No way any owner/GM is dumb enough to think
“oh if I waste a draft pick on a non-NBA talent I will be able to get able to get a 40 year old former great player with more NBA mileage on his body than possibly any player in history? That’s a great idea for my franchise!”

If you randomly read this quote, you would be like “whatever”. But I you read it while hearing Lebron’s voice, it just sounds dumber.

But what if his kids suck?
Bronny is a 3* at best. And he's already got injury issues and he isn't even 18. The younger one is going to be as tall as his father, and appears to have some skill for his age.

Bron might have to join a g league team to play with them.

I love it when he tries to "look" smart, great example is all the photos of him reading the first page of a book.

In what other league do stars play fewer then 2/3rds of the game and the best player is trying to teams to spend first rounders on his mediocre sons.

Thank goodness you were able to catch this conspiracy ahead of time and save all humanity from itself.

What team is dumb enough to let him ruin them for a decade in the twilight of his career?

James is a 4* and ranked in the top 100. ESPN has him at #35 in the class. He is probably overrated. But the name matters, and he is flooded with offers. The kid can name his school right now. If he plays decent, he is going to get drafted. He is worth it just for the marketing aspect, without his dad's influence. He has over 6M followers on IG (more than Zion) and it's growing. He is definitely worth a late 1st, which the Lakers or anyone else can buy every draft..

So popularity and marketing aren't factors in player rating and evaluation?

The dumb team that LeBron will eventually buy so his sons will have a team to play for.

Guess he's not planning on playing with his sons after all then.

I actually think it would make sense for some perennial cellar dweller with attendance and marketing issues to sign lebron and bronny (I doubt they’d need to draft the kid, they can probably sign him as an undrafted free agent).
That said, it won’t be a team like the lakers.
