He didn’t win a single thing until he got these two MONSTER defenders y’all are talking about, the best 3 point shooter in the league,

Then who exactly are the second “MONSTER defender” and “best 3 point shooter in the league” you are referring to on the 91 bulls? Did you think Rodman was on that team? The 91 bulls ENTIRE TEAM only made 155 3s that season.

Is this a serious question?
Prime James would destroy Rodman

Prime LeBron is virtually unguardable
I swear this board is nothing but Xillennials that can’t admit they’re getting old like everyone else

quote:The two god-mode defenders being Pippen and Rodman. Jordan had 1 of them for 100% of his titles and both of them for what, half? Add one of the best 3 point shooters ever to that point on what, over half of those titles? GOAT coach for 100% of them as well.

I wasn’t sure, but leaned towards Rodman being on most/all of the 6 titles. That was a bit silly when I think harder about it.

lol says the guy who creates fake basketball histories and mixes timelines because he has zero idea what he’s talking about.

I offered a timeline for something I didn’t watch and then asked folks to clarify it.
You don’t think LeBron was legendarily fast.
You’re losing and people see how y’all lie about that shite. You have the reasoning ability of an enthusiastic Joe Biden voter. Y’all are completely removed from reality.

Nobody is stopping a player of Bron's caliber by themselves. It takes team defense to contain him.
Posted on 4/15/26 at 12:21 pm to redfishfan
I doubt there’s a way to play defense on LeBron in that era that would keep him from averaging 40/10/10 for multiple seasons

Dirk Nowitziki got in his head and he didn't even do anything.
Except go on a heater in that series, and he was unstoppable at times late in games. LeBron refused to guard him or even get near him to provide switch help. Various schemes of Wade, Bosh, Haslam and others were all used against Dirk, but LeBron stayed away.
Instead, LeBron was often guarding 6’2” Jason Terry, but still getting outplayed. Terry averaged more points than LeBron, shot 50% from the outside, and consistently hit big shots against him late in games.
Meanwhile, Shawn Marion shut down LeBron on the defensive end. Marion was nicknamed “The Matrix” for a reason. He was the ideal type of player to defend LeBron, but he also got in his head so bad that LeBron didn’t even try to challenge him as the series progressed.
That whole team did a good job of getting in LeBron’s head, especially late in games.

quote:Was gonna bring that up too. We all witnessed Shawn Marion turn prime Lebron James into a role player on the biggest stage on a team full of all-stars.

Prime Lebron was 6'8 260. What was Rodman? 6'6 210? Its a total mismatch.
Posted on 4/15/26 at 1:56 pm to Drewbie
Lebron choked a finals series away.
It is not as significant as y’all want to make and it simply doesn’t disqualify him from anything, other than being the winner of that 1 title.

Rodman would make Lebron his little bitch.
Posted on 4/15/26 at 3:59 pm to LSUDAN1
It does depend on the rules but taking him out of his game and costing him wins has been done by far lesser defenders than Rodman.
Posted on 4/15/26 at 4:03 pm to prplhze2000
Imagine the outrage on this board over Rodman. Objectively dirty player who grabbed players asses on the court and cross dressed in public

You can’t even say LeBron was fast af.
Nobody will believe a word you say.
