What a player. What a catch for his 100th touchdown. He has to be Top 5 all-time easily, if not higher.

Never seen a WR carry a team the way he did that Super Bowl run- it was like watching a great basketball player in the clutch, he'd go off at the end of every game even the Super Bowl

Hes pretty much T.O.,( big, fast, powerful, can carry a team) ...except he actually catches EVERYTHING and is not a compete cancer in the locker room...too bad his QB situation was so up and down his whole career

He's not as dominant as Moss or Megatron, but may have better hands.

He is a pro's pro.

First ballot hall of famer

I know Jason White was a great college QB, but I still think Fitzgerald should've won the Heisman.

In terms of talent, probably the best.

Screwed by shitty QBs most of his career

no way. Moss will be #1 on this list for a long time with Megatron being his only real competition

fitz and rice weren't elite physical talents but out-worked the field and dominated

Rice is on the list because he was fearless over the middle in the pre-vaginal era of the NFL.

And because he had Montana and Young throwing to him.

rice is also on the list b/c he's the best NFL player of all time and his records are retarded, even in this era of passing.

at 39 and 40, without the 49ers, he put up back to back 1100+ yard seasons and at 41 had 869 yards

On a related note it's too bad that Boldin couldn't have stayed his whole career in Arizona

He has quietly had one of the most consistent careers of any WR in the game

He and Fitz were a hell of a combo when they were together

he wasn't. he's big and decently fast and quick for his size, but he's not elite

I actually agree.

He isn't faster than everyone or taller or stronger. Guys like Moss and Megatron were just freaks of nature.

He DOES have elite hand eye coordination and possibly the greatest hands of all time.

I never realized this.

Rice's route running was surgical. It seemed he was wide open constantly without effort.
