He was drafted by a good team and one of the best franchises in the NFL.

Peyton was drafted first overall by an awful franchise up to that point.

Ravens weren't terrible but they had missed the playoffs the 3 seasons before Lamar and were 4-5 when he took over then got them to the playoffs.

Peyton was drafted first overall by an awful franchise up to that point. peyton had two hall of fame receivers and a hall of fame running back by year four

When they drafted Manning they had Marshall Faulk at RB, Harrison at WR, Pollard at TE

He’s still only 25. Even if he falls off a cliff around 30, he should have several years left playing at a high level.
