Are you disappointed that Lamar didn't sign with your Falcons?

Alright, fine. Divisional round then. That seems to be the ceiling for Jackson. That team will not be a serious contender for the foreseeable future.

Seeing falcon fans act like they’re too good for Lamar Jackson is weird to me

Felt like a tie. He turned down a mint. He wanted every penny guaranteed. It ended up being about 75% guaranteed. I thought he got what he originally wanted and the Ravens got what they wanted at the beginning.

You won’t openly say this, but you 100% think all the drama is solely a race issue

For me, it has nothing to do with being "too good" for Jackson and everything to do with having more than 10 years of data that shows that giving out contracts like this doesn't work out for the team unless the QB is Patrick Mahomes.

Hefty investment for a guy that is always injured. I don't see the appeal but I guess the Ravens don't have many options.

Saying that he's better than Lamar or any top 15 QB for that matter is insanity.

you will be proven wrong after this upcoming season

Total brain fart after long day of work.

Who is Cleveland's QB?

They don't have one right now. That is my point.

Remember when Lamar and the Ravens couldn’t agree to terms and the sports media (RG3) tried to make it a racial thing

I'd have rolled with Huntley and tried to load up around him.

This isn’t fantasy football Cochise.

Since the rookie wage scale was introduced, that's a more proven winning formula

Oh really, who that’s the level of Ricky Huntley has won?

Mahomes is the only QB since 2012 to win a Super Bowl after signing one of these big contracts.

And 4 months ago no one had so now we move the goalposts

More like confusing correlation with causation. many said the same thing when Mahomes signed his deal now he’s the exception. Has anyone besides Wilson won on a rookie deal in that time frame? Eta Mahomes first I guess.
Winning the SB is extremely difficult, there no one “proven formula” that doesn’t involve a lot of 20/20 hindsight. Baltimore may not win with Jackson but chances are they will be better over the next 5 years with him than other options (to get Richardson as you said you would, would require them to trade up)
