I need to see this team against some competition but the Walker signing looks good. Hope he’s ready to play every game because Looney is unplayable.

that's the issue with Kessler. He never stays healthy. He has been good when healthy his whole career

I love it but tough to get excited at this point. Will we stay healthy (doubtful) and can our defense hold up against the top teams (doutbful). Still fun to watch for the time beaing!

This has not been historically true.

That last guy they cut, and kept Bronny, had to be for the color optics, right?

That's the glaring problem right now, and was in the off-season when they were making moves. I think they work out a decent rotation on the wings, but there is nothing behind Walker. I don't know that Walker is a player that they can just ride forever with huge minutes. He may be, but he's never had to do that.

It's hard to say, outside of last year's shoulder injury/surgery, how injury prone he actually is. Utah was on an unapologetic tank his entire time there. He missed more games for "rest" than injury prior to last season. Hell, even with playing only five games last season he played just 9 fewer games than Lauri Markkanen in the stretch they played together in Utah. Who knows what was "real" with the tanking Jazz?
