There were rumblings from LeBron's camp that they didn't think Kawhi had any desire to play with him.

But Lakers confidence got the better of them.

That Jonah Hill looking motherfricker does nothing but carry water for Team LeBron. Fat hunk of shite.

I don’t disagree that they have shortcomings on their squad but I will gladly bet on a team with Lebron/Davis to make the playoffs.

There’s an overwhelming hate for Lebron, Davis, and Lakers on this board so I think people are overly excited at the idea of any combo of that failing. People also think because of a groin injury that Lebron is suddenly an average basketball player.

I think the Lakers filled out the roster nicely and will be fine. They probably won’t win it all but not making the playoffs seems like people are predicting/hoping for an injury more than anything else. Just my opinion though.

To add, my 6 year old became enamored with all things Kawhi and I am a Lebron guy so I was hoping they would team up so we could root together. That probably made me the most salty! ??

They'll make the playoffs. SDV can't help himself sometimes.

Or a lot of the times.

Gotta imagine this won’t sit well with players who are on the fence about joining LAL going forward.

the Lakers apparently aren’t pleased with how Leonard handled his free-agency saga.
Thats pretty rich coming from them only a few months removed from the AD saga that all started with Lakers tampering.

The Lakers lose out the same way Hillary lost to Trump: never in a million years thought it could happen and trashed anyone who thought otherwise. Their whole pitch to Kawhi was "if you're going to play in L.A., are you really going to play for the Clippers?"

Meanwhile their FO is run by people in way over their head. Laker arrogance is something else.

Its funny to laugh at the Lakers

But those kind of rich comments are a little different coming from an NBA front office (even if its just "sources say") compared to some random internet message board poster.

I don't see how visting Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania more would have helped them land Kawhi.

I didn't say shite. That team was a dumpster fire besides him. Plus LBJ gets injured.

Lebron and AD at least gets you in.
