I mean, the kid will be a top 10 pick in the draft by both the MLB and NFL and is an unquestionably elite athlete.

That's not too outlandish to say he's the best athlete he's seen in person

Right, people are so delusional here sometimes. The list of people that have been drafted by both the MLB and NFL is relatively small. Let alone drafted top 10!

Give me a break.

Tom Brady got drafted in both and has abysmal athleticism.

Murray is clearly a fantastic athlete. But I figured most of us have seen Cam or been to an NBA game.

Just because Cam is bigger, doesn't mean he's a better athlete than Kyler Murray.

Other than winning a title, they had similar accomplishments at the same position in college.

Both won the Heisman playing QB for top 5 teams. Cam had 51 TDs (30 pass, 20 rush, 1 rec), Kyler had 54 TDs (42 pass, 12 rush).

And Kyler just happens to be an elite baseball player too.

Aren’t his baseball stats actually pretty bad?

That kid cracks me up because he looks just like my wife's nephew.

They are doppelgangers

He was drafted 9th overall. The MLB scouts don't do that unless they think you're an elite baseball talent.

Yeah but being an elite baseball talent isn’t the same thing as being an elite baseball player is my point

Honestly, not to argue, I was just curious about Murray's baseball stats.

So his stats, while focusing on football most of college, his junior year had:

.296 avg/.398 obp/.556 slg/.954 ops with 10 HR

Bregman, who played baseball year round all of college, his junior year had:

.323 avg/.412 obp/.535 slg/.947 ops with 9 HR

That's pretty fricking good for Murray.

This is debatable.

I think you are putting mobility and pocket presence together. Because he has mobility he's able to make plays out of the pocket so you are saying his presence is good (I'm fine with that but more verifying).

I think Haskins has way more prototypical size and is smart. His read of defenses was really impressive to me (much more than I thought it would be for him).

I think in today's NFL both can be very successful

Idk. None?

How many guys get drafted into football and baseball?

Does that make them better athletes than, idk, Lebron?
