Oh no. We didn’t have any players in Northern California at that time, did we?

I am hoping we didn’t have a player out there racing him.

Ha! These guys don’t take vacation time. It’s not like they’re clock punching wage donkeys. They work year round, probably 12 hour days. And in the middle of Summer? Right before the season starts? Cmon man.

Shanahan says the accident was his fault.

Embarrassing for the media lackeys that carried water for the 49ers over this. Schefter just proving again to be a bigger star fricker than Diana.

Ask yourself how in 2026 a serious accident with injuries in Palo Alto, California involving an NFL head coach wasn't actually reported by any media for almost 2 weeks. This celebrity Blind from yesterday was on probably the biggest celeb gossip site in the industry. This explains everything. They are covering it up & the other person is most likely very rich right now or about to be.

The NFL coach should have got a DUI, but you won't ever hear a word about it. Ever.

All in a conspiracy together lockstep from the jump. The police dispatch records that explicitly confirmed alcohol or drugs weren’t involved? Clear and obvious lies from police of a city that the guy doesn’t even live in or commute through. Sure
It was known by a few insiders and friends but not reported earlier because the Niners would persona non grata anyone who didn’t respect his privacy and until they knew the extent of his injuries. You may disapprove of the Niners org essentially forcing compliance and ensuring they announced the crash on their terms but there’s enough logical reasons for them to want to do so including needing time to figure out what the frick they’re doing about training camp and the start of the season. Questions more easily answered discretely
Someone in the media could have announced it within a few hours, ultimately nothing changes. The police records that confirmed he wasn’t under the influence are still issued at the scene. The only thing that changes is we learn about the event happening earlier. We still don’t get substantive updates until weeks later

You really believe they even evaluated him on the scene? Not even a moving violation for causing a head on collision by crossing into oncoming traffic? They probably tried to pin it on that teenage girl he hit, but are backtracking due to dashcam or similar evidence.

Niner-fan police in niner-worshipping city dealing with the niner head coach?

weird it happened 10 days ago and no one, not even the team knew until last night/ this morning
He was probably drunk and hit someone who was a 49ers fan. That person recognized him immediately, he paid them off and they agreed that they'd keep it quiet for as long as possible.
That or he was getting road head from Diana Russini and swerved when he was finishing. Happens to the best of us.

He says he wasn’t on his phone, but dropped his phone and reached for it. Get your story straight Kyle.

They were also wearing body cams
quote:Don’t know if you’ve ever been to the Bay Area before (assuming not to say this) but the Niners can be in the Super Bowl and you barely see any red in SF proper all the way down to the South Bay. Calling a Silicon Valley city full of dorks and immigrants “Niner-worshipping” is hilarious. It’s not the PD of small town in rural Texas that pulled over its star QB in the middle of the playoffs. It’s more likely they had no idea who he was than everyone on the scene being diehard Niner fans in on corruption when all it would take is one public record request for body cam footage to potentially end careers. Seems like a lot to personally risk instead of just letting a coach take a 5-6 game suspension
