how many HOFers, in the middle of their prime, couldnt hold down a starting job on teams with shitty QB's???

So it's Warner's fault that his vastly superior play in NY than Manning wouldn't let him keep the job all season?

Also, a not 100% Warner lst his job to Bulger. Bulger was FAR from shitty his first few years. He made multiple pro bowls and as a 6th rounder was a much cheaper option for a small market team.

Dude is just sick...when he is given time in the pocket, he is virtually unstoppable.

any surefire HOF doesnt lose their job to some 22 year old rookie...IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR PRIME!!!

frick, obviously the coaches saw something....

and a guy that couldnt beat out Marc Bulger who couldnt even cut it with the Saints.....come off 2-3 really good seasons with the Rams????? a Super Bowl at that???

yeah, i guess the coaches just hated him. Prob thought his wife was a bull dyke so they felt obligated not to play him. Poor Kurt....and that prob just went on for 5 years just cause they didnt see the HOF in him....right...one of the most overrated QB's of the last 20 years right here, is what we have

not to discredit warner, but a lot of QB's could be lights out playing for the cardinals right now.

a 33 year old coming off 2 years of injuries could absolutely lose his job to the face of the franchise rookie no matter how badly he outplays the rookie....as seen in this case. That's not an indictment on warner's play, but a commentary on his particular situation.

yes, but his injuries did play a part. just as he prob should have been drafted, teams can make mistakes.

Hmm, you do realize that every person listed on that list, if healthy for an entire career, has a shot at the HOF, so I'm not seeing your point.

That fact is, had Warner come into the league at 21 and played at the same clip he is playing now, he would be in the discussion for one of the best QB's of all time.

have you seen his accuracy when he gets time? there are not 10 qbs in the NFL that can make those throws.

Actually, there is only one other QB all time that has his accuracy numbers.

Drew Bledsoe was really fricking overrated, yes.

Brady went like 8 or 9 games without throwing a TD his first season.

they went 12-4 and won their division his first full year as a starter.

are you just refusing to acknowledge the uniqueness of the pressure to play Eli placed on the NYG?

You can't be REALLY overrated when you are on pace to throw 60,000 yards in your career before going down with injury.

He still finished with almost 45,000 yards passing.

Bledsoe just played in an offense than threw the ball a ton. he doesnt have not one year in which he had a QB rating of better than 90.

sure he threw for 4500+yds for New England in one season, but his TD/INT ratio was 25td/27int.
