who is saying he is? nobody.

Bledsoe was on his way. If you want to talk about overrated QB's you should have brought up Aikman.

evidently it pisses people off that i said he was overrated

him losing his job to Tom Brady who won the super bowl that same year is not the same as Warner losing his job to Marc Bulger and never been able to get it back are 2 different scenarios

and it just goes to show u that u can plug anyone into that Ram offense and keep the wheels turning.

Marc Bulger.....REally? team had a nice record, but was a major product of the system. See Warner.

Tom Brady has jewelry...a lot of it...

not an Aikman fan by any means, but the dude has the hardware. He made plays when it mattered.

How can you argue that Kurt Warner isn't a HOF'er

I seem to remember Cassel doing pretty well in New England last year in his first year starting. Look at him now.

Brady is in just as much as system as every other QB.

every QB is just about a product of there particular system. Ill be he first to admit it.

Matt Cassell is not Tom Brady, however.

And neither is Bulger on the same level as Warner.

Warner left the system and has played well wherever he went. When healthy, Warner has been lights out.

So what if Kurt had a few bad years in the middle of his career. Almost every QB has bad years either at the beginning or end of their career. The fact that he's still playing at this level says something.

I never said he wasn't. Did you read the thread??

the precedent set for QBs in the NFL HOF is pretty low.

He'll be a HOF. I dont think he is a 1st ballot HOF though. I dont think he is a "shoe in".

ask yourself this, what HOF QB or potential HOF QB in the last 20 years couldn't hold a starting position for nearly 5 years before he landed on his feet again. In his prime.

What team wouldnt have enough trust in a HOF QB in his early 30's to turn the team over to him??? frick we are TALKING HALL OF FAME QB!!!! Why was their so much doubt surrounding Warner to start him??/ Injuries??? lol...come on, HOF'ers dont lost their job to 22 year old rookies beacause of injuries..not when you are 31 or so

dude, are you in a fricking cave???

seriously, look up Warners stats from 2002-2006...thats 5 years, he couldnt win a starting job as a QB.

in his prime.

HOF lock right there.

i never said he was. Bulger threw 22 TDs to 22 INTs that season he took over.

Brady won the Super Bowl. Like i said, not comparable.

Brady goes 16-0

Cassell led Pats team cant even make the playoffs.

do the math

The fact that he lost a starting job to a team and city that clearly wanted their number one draft pick to play is pretty irrelevant, especially seeing how well he's been playing the past two years.

put it into context dude

he went from playing with 3 HOF in St Louis, setting a shite load of records in a Mike Martz offense, to not being able to land a full time starting gig for 5 fricking years.

So what if he had a few bad years in the middle of his career???

Yeah, so what. I dont really care. But thats not helping your argument. But find me a list of HOF QB's that went that long in the middle of their career trying to land a full time starting QB gig. Not many

yeah, not in their prime. Losing QB battles to Marc Bulger, Manning, and Leinart.

I'm not sure if he was given a fair shake in any of those QB controversies.

His ups and downs just reiterate the overall lack of respect he's gotten over his career.

Before last season most said he wasn't even a HOFer.

That's 5 years of people thinking he was too old and injured to play as a starter. He ONLY played in 36 games in those 5 years.

He was injured badly in 2002-2003. He came back off injury for the purpose of backing up Eli and showing him the ropes, After his injury, Warner's rating NEVER went below 85 no matter where he played.

Now, WAY past his prime, he is healthy and dominating.

It's pretty obvious who's in the cave on this one.

Kurt Warner's "career" is this

3 great years with the Rams ETA: Actually 2 great years sandwhiched around an average year with the Rams

5 years of diddly shite

His last 2 which one was average, and last year which was on par with his Rams days.

Kurt warner is 4 years of greatness.

I'm sure he gets in but if he does, Terrel Davis should get in too
