Who knows? But seeing this is a Kobe/Lebron debate, I'm guessing this question means you've conceded that Lebron should not even be mentioned until he wins something.
Your comprehension is lacking.
My question I posed basically insinuates the exact opposite of what you're claiming I conceded, lol.
And again, there is ZERO way you can continue to use your 4-0 argument unless you clearly say that Scottie Pippen was absolutely better than Kobe.
If you think Kobe is better than Pip, then you're 4-0 argument goes right out the window, so you gotta concede 1 of em or just admit your logic is completely flawed.

not to mention the side facts no one speaks of. people always bitch because lebron is surrounded by nobodies and kobe has an incredible surrounding cast...IMO this is advantageous to Lebron because he doesnt need to share the ball, he can take over the game single handedly. Kobe has numerous other players he dishes the ball to and still puts up remarkable numbers and gets the W. Put Kobe on a team with less talent and he'll be the star too.
Funny you say that.
I hear this argument over and over again, and yet it's like you and others simply forget that kobe was on shite teams just 4 short years ago.
And what do you know, Kobe didn't remotely put up numbers as good as Lebron when he didn't have teammates.
Why is that?

Oh, then I must have missed him winning that championship. Care to give me a link?
Oh wait...
It's just funny how your argument ONLY comes down to a team accomplishment, it's hilarious actually.
As if somehow playing with the best player in the NBA and now the best supporting cast in the NBA magically makes 1 player better than another. LOLZ.

My comprehension is lacking? The point of the thread is KOBE VERSUS wait for it... LEBRON...
...not Kobe vs. Pippen etc.
So again, thanks for conceding through in this post that Lebron should not even be mentioned.

35-36 ppg for a season when being tripled teamed is not good? 40+ ppg for an entire month, done multiple times is not good?

And "assists" aren't team accomplishments? Rebounds aren't directly correlated to the position you play?
Oh, I forgot, Lebron gets an automatic assist when he waits until 2 seconds on the shot clock to pass the ball to his teammates. They don't need to make their shot.

unknown night is dumb. Fact. You cant judge a team stastic and say that makes one player better than the other.
Posted on 3/8/10 at 6:33 pm to theunknownknight
I knew that you wouldn't be able to find a specific example.

Of course you don't want to answer my post because you KNOW your logic is completely flawed.
And regardless, Kobe having 4 rings has nothing to do with who is a better player NOW.

I don't know that I've ever seen a poster reaching as much as you are in this thread, LOL.

It was a great season, but he also took 27 shots per game, of course he's gonna score more.
His team needed him to do EVERYTHING.
Why didn't he average 7-8 assists or rebounds per game???
I mean, lebron only does it because he's compiling stats and Kobe doesn't need to right?
So when kobe needed to do it ALL, why didn't he do it as good as Lebron does?

Reaaaaaching!!!
You're right, Lebron is just compiling stats. LOLZ.

Oh look, another TEAM accomplishment. So, the fact that Kobe played with Shaq in his prime and now has the best supporting cast factors into him being better than Lebron right NOW??? Weirdest logic ever.
And LBJ taking that group of scrubs to the finals is absolutely more impressive than any 1 title Kobe ever won. Anyone who disagrees needs to remove themselves from this discussion.

how does something that happened 4 or 5 years ago have anything to do with who is the better basketball player currently, today, march 8th, 2010?

This is like bizarro world right now with the "logic" being thrown around.
