I mean, that's a life-changing moment any way you look at it.

It's really strange that the Lakers haven't tweeted out anything or posted on their website about Kobe.

Hopefully the idea is to give the family some time before they do something really big

Some other teams haven’t posted anything either

Then some have had nice posts with Kobe picture

Not sure if posted. Audio of radio control and pilot, plus radar.

Heard somewhere today that top Lakers officials have been with Vanessa since they found out about 25 mins before it went public. I’m sure she is and will be very involved with whatever happens.

Dang...100% pilot error.

It looks like that video was speeding up when there wasn't any chatter, but is it odd that there was no metion of the quick and large elevation change they made right before crashing?

Has anyone with any helicopter expertise said whether the flight pattern and data speaks to the helicopter falling to its crash? Or whether the pilot just crashed straight into the mountain because of the fog?

I’m hoping it’s the latter. I get sick to my stomach every time I imagine those people realizing what’s about to happen to them. Hoping they didn’t have any time to process what was happening.

Everything seems to indicate it's the latter. They essentially plowed straight into the mountain at 170mph. The people in the back likely had no clue except for the fraction of a second of the impact because the cabin of the helicopter does not see forward...only to the side.

Quite a dickhead response for no reason. I just genuinely hope they at least got to pass with peace of mind.

Everyone with a moral compass hopes the same. You are asking a question that will never be answered. Quit with the online therapy. Enough.

I’m not going to go any further after this post given the circumstances. Hope you feel better dictating to others what they should and shouldn’t ask after tragedies.
