Accuracy there will take a while. The only way you would know now is if the pilot reported something over the radio and that he was on a frequency being recorded. But a helicopter pilot or two pilots have their hands full normally, in an emergency it might be more than they can handle to blurt out their issue.
Otherwise it falls into the lap of the NTSB, they will issue a preliminary report but it might not be quick.
