Throughout the entire Last Dance where the Jazz were featured it completely slipped my mind about his son playing for LSU. Karl actually opened up a 5.11 store in Metairie. Everyone I talk to thinks he’s such a nice dude until I drop the info about knocking up a child on them. They always get very quiet.

They were some poor country people in the early 80s, they might not have even thought the age difference was weird.

I'm 40 and my family is from rural Louisiana. Back in those days a young adult male in his late teens/early 20s going with a girl in her early teens was socially acceptable. It was like that throughout the south. Furthermore, Karl is in all of his kids' lives. This shite is water under the bridge. And, fake arse liberals can eat a bag.

I think PMT was hesitant to talk bad about about the interview because of the relationships they have with LSU [and probably KJ - I think he's a fan of the pod (tweeted at PMT when he had the moustache during camp awhile back) and still around the program].
Karl has some skeletons in his past but he's an idiot from an extreme backwoods part of the country, so I'm not sure he's totally culpable.

He's actually not an a-hole in person. I've had several conversations with Karl and he was never an a-hole to me. He has done a lot of good in Union parish that a lot of people will never know about. Sure he's human and does and says dumb things people are not going to agree with.
What he did getting that girl pregnant and having nothing to do with the kid is very wrong.

Man, the people making those comments in the comment section give a really good indication of how screwed up this world is, and it's really screwed up. But the question I'd ask is why would a 13 year old be around Malone anyways?? I don't understand that, but they are some really young girls out there that pass themselves off as being much older all the time. I'm not saying this is the case, but you never know, I just don't understand why a 19-20 something year old man would be hanging around a 13 year old other than the obvious.
