A lot of people dont realize SC can get 9 early enrollees next year. They could potentially sign 24 recruits next year. The next two after that will be tough

A lot of people get 100% of their sports news from ESPN so they're clueless about what's going on.

Kiffin will recruit like a mofo and get his kids fired up to play. I guarantee you unless he's preemtively axed by Haden that he will win more BCS titles at USC than Carroll did. Guarantee you.

So you're saying he'll win 2 BCS titles in the next 9 seasons?

ETA: ...and finish in the top 4 7 consecutive seasons, win at least 5 straight BCS bowl games, and at least 7 straight years of winning the Pac10?

Barkley had much more zip on the ball than he did last year and much better timing. His improvement, even though Hawaii is terrible, was pretty clear.

don't confuse USC hate with Lane Kiffen hate.

many people didn't like Kiffen long before he took over at USC

Okay so he kicks arse at recruiting, is one of the best offensive minds in college football, is young and identifies with his players, has innumerable allies and contacts with both NCAA and NFL experience, his father is a coaching legend and one of the top 10 defensive minds of football history.

What about that indicates he's less than a top 3 coach in NCAA football at this very moment? Just because he's a "douche"? 17 year old kids deciding on colleges LIKE douches. Even that is an asset.

Stop letting ESPN talking heads tell you what to think. It's inevitable that he's going to succeed wildly at USC. He's already on track to be the 2nd best recruiter in the nation, SoCal is an easy place to recruit to, and he's got a horribly soft conference that will be easy to dominate and will provide an easy path to numerous BCS Title games.

Kiffin is 100 times the gameday strategist and coach that Carroll was. The fact that Carroll only won 1 BCS title is one of the most under-discussed stories in recent sports.

certainly not a "good coach" no one knows that, however, the refusing to tackle during fall camp led to lazy tackling last night and that will be a problem throughout the season. on top of that, USC was in very poor condition, which is not something you can fix in the middle of the season.

does USC have some players? yes.
will USC continue to recruit stud players? yes.
will USC develop those stud players? (no one knows)

You know we were; especially after watching the muffs in the Utah game.
