Who do you take? I know the question used to be Harden vs. Westbrook, but I think that Harden has stepped his game up even more this year.

As a Rockets fan, I wouldn't trade a guy who can take the ball to the hole any time he wants getting points or a foul for a guy who relies much more on his jumper. Not to mention that Harden has a phenomenal shot as well.

I'm not knocking on Durant at all. But I think there is a reason that he talks up Harden so much to the media. I think he realizes how good he is.

Kevin Durant. Harden is very good but this isn't that close, IMO

Harden

KD is possibly the most overrated player of all time.

28 ppg on 51% shooting over an entire season. How many people can do that?

I think some of you guys need to watch more Harden. We'll see what the consensus is at the end of the year. I will not be surprised at all if Harden wins an MVP before Durant.

I think you need to stop being such a homer. Harden is a top-10 player but Durant is on another level than almost everyone else

Durant made the most FTs in the league last year, shot a much higher FG%, better 3pt%, and better FT% than Harden

To answer your question, I'd still take Durant. His skill set at his size is just ridiculous. And I love Harden.

I've seen them both, in person, probably 40-50 times for the record.

Right now, I would reject a straight up trade between the two players. I think Harden is that good.

You guys know he averaged 26 PPG in his first year as a starter, right?

Those of you acting like this isn't even debatable are taking crazy pills.

No problem with you loving Harden. But you're not looking at their entire body of work.

And we haven't even mentioned defense, which Harden has always seemed mostly disinterested in. Durant has gotten better each year for the most part on defense.

You saw a 22-year old Harden. I think his game has matured a ton this last year. He is a #1 scoring option, not just a 6th man.

Thanks for the introducing us to Harden. We know he's awesome. That doesn't mean Durant/Harden is debatable.

Harden has looked MUCH better on defense this year. He had such an offensive load last year that he was simply too exhausted to play defense well, which McHale has acknowledged. With Howard behind him, and other guys scoring, he has been much better defensively.
