I realize Wade isn't a GREAT post player, but at least he tries to incorporate it from time to time.

Have you read my earlier posts in this thread? I obviously talk about defense, etc. If you wanna compare rebounds, well, Lebron is a forward and Kobe is a guard, so he SHOULD get more rebounds. If you wanna talk about assists, it's still the same ole' same ole' with Lebron, hold...hold..then pass as the clock nears the 24 seconds. Have you not noticed Wade's assist numbers have TANKED this year when Lebron is in the game?

ETA: And Kobe is in the triangle which is designed to spread the passing around the floor. For reference, look at Jordan's drop in assists when the triangle was fully implemented in Phil Jackson's second year.

Statements like this make me think you aren't actually watching any of their games. Lebron had some great assists yesterday in the open court in transition, feeding Wade and Bosh alley oops early in the shot clock, etc. He was actually creating open buckets rather than doing what you're describing.

Lebron runs their offense the majority of the time because he's the best at it, which is part of why people think he has a better all around game than Wade.

Why are we even talking about post games when talking about to guards and a point forward?

Also when has Lebron played or needed to play enough in the post to make a true evaluation. Maybe when Lebron gets older, slows down, and needs to play more of a traditional power forward role we will be able to evaluate this.

I don't think Wade has played enough in the post for you to say he can do it or not either.

The only reason someone might be able to evaluate a post game with Kobe is because of the Lakers use of the Triangle offense. The offense itself has moved him into the post at times during games. I don't know how that proves anything as Wade and Lebron would thrive in the Laker's system also.

Right now Lebron's combination of size and skills establishes him solidly in front.

You can point out what any website says his position is, but if you actually watch games, you would know the truth about the "positions" they play.
