Yeah I did not realize Gausman was doing that poorly for Atlanta, that same guy said he expects Gausman to the bullpen.

This helps the bullpen too. Gausman can be a good arm out there with his velocity and splitter.

Keuchel is more name than substance. His best years are behind him. He should still be a competent innings eater which may be exactly what the Braves need, I'm not familiar with their rotation situation. Hes no longer the Cy Young winning pitcher but should maybe be somewhere in the high 3's with his ERA. Brings lots of playoff experience on a somewhat young Braves team.

I would have stayed away from any real multi year deal but dont I think he would have signed a deal for just the rest of the year. But maybe I'm wrong
