90% of Cox and Asmussen et al top horses train all winter at Fair Grounds. Most run elsewhere, but that's where they train. If these clowns would raise the purses and stop running the place like it's Evangeline Downs, they could hae a great meet.

had the filly closing in the oaks, and just missed. looks like another one of those weekends.
dont like so many horses under 10 to 1. where is the damn pletcher money? they usually make his 20/1 turn into 5/1's.

We had a pretty dry week this week here but next week are looking at rain pretty much everyday sans two.

Rewatched Secretariats Belmont run yesterday. Only had four other horses in the field. Talk about a match race.
(Not that it’s relevant to the size of todays Derby! )
