I wouldn’t leave the 23 out
He has a nice beyer trajectory and if we are liking closers (we aren’t this week) he needs a mention
Kingsbarns probably isn’t getting enough play but his 1:14: at 3/4 at fairgrounds doesn’t wow anyone

I had to do that once in sandals, just not on derby day. It was unplanned

My cool story bro of the day.
My little brother who has since passed played baseball in HS (2001). One of the things a lot of local teams do is cleanup after the Oaks and Derby. He was with his team cleaning up for the Oaks when he ran into a guy who they thought was just a random track employee. The guy took him and his teammates back to see the jockey room and some other spots on the track folks can’t normally go. And talked for awhile with them about horses and UK basketball. When they were finished the guy told them that he trained a horse and that horse was going to win the Derby. My brother got my Mom to bet him at an off track before the Derby.
The trainer was John T. Ward Jr and the horse was Monarcos.
