Eli doesn't know what planet he's on. He certainly doesn't give AF about the media.

Kevin Durant's skin is thinner than wet single ply. He's the most sensitive super star I can remember when it comes to the media/fans. He creates anonymous fake social media accounts to fight on his own behalf on twitter.

A few bad headlines and this dude might have a melt down.

I think the NY media doesnt have the power it used to

Not long ago, their media was different and the harshest on players. Now, who the hell watches the news or picks up a paper? Its all social media driven, which rides KDs balls just as hard in OKC and the Bay area as they will in NYC. We live in a global news world now

Fair enough.

The fans will boo his arse on the street though if he has a few bad games

Now that is one difference in NYC i suppose. But he would likely live in the burbs anyway

KD's worst game is better than anything they've seen from a knick in a decade.

Eh not so sure about that
Most of the team lives in the city
The giants and jets live in the burbs, but remember they don’t play in the city

If he did sign here, which I doubt. He’ll get some swanky apt in TriBeCa or Soho

It’s still NY.
They’ll boo anyone but Derek Jeter

probably not. Mitchell Robinson lived in a hotel in White Plains... Granted he doesn't have KD's money

Idk about that. Kevin is the only warriors player that lives in SF all the rest are in the east bay.

I mean, I said most.

As soon as Ron Baker got paid (4 mill a year!) he moved to the upper west side.
When Amare came here he lived in the meat packing district ,Melo did etc

And Mitchell (per social media) seems to always be walking around the city , so it’s not like he’s out hanging in white plains, who the frick would when you got NYC to hang out in?

None of this is happening
This is the Knicks.

Here’s my prediction.
They’ll get Kemba, who’s definitely on the downturn of his career

Then sign Draymond and Marc Gasol to large deals.

This is the same team that gave up a first rounder then signed Eddy Curry to a large deal

And gave up a first rounder to Andrea Bargnani

Yes i know that and recently there was an article in the post that more and more players are moving to the city.
Not sure where Fizdale lives but Hornacek lived in the city.
KP was living in the city before he was traded.
Deandre Jordan is currently living in the city for the time being in a hotel until he knows if he’s staying

Tarrytown is 30 mins outside of NY.

I don’t think KD will live in Westchester is all I’m saying.

I think the cost of housing in NY for what NBA players are used to elsewhere hurts them and other Eastern markets in free agency... And the it will the Warriors going from Oakland to SF

I don’t think it’s that much of a difference for a guy like KD/max players
Players just don’t want to play for the Knicks because their owner sucks and they are just a trash organization.
Amare IMO did because they were the only team stupid enough to give him the deal.
Melo forced it because he was trying to save his marriage IMO.

And KD already lives in SF so he’s already living in the most expensive city in the country
The move too for Oakland/SF won’t change much either Oakland is not that much cheaper, and the distance isn’t that far.
Not like they’re moving to San Jose or Santa Clara

If they actually are thinking of getting KD, do you think they trade the 3 pick for something lower, or another player? I saw here that Barrett was the odds-on favorite to be picked by them (the Duke Zion consolation prize lol) LINK and I feel like if they can sign KD, it may be a good pick. Of course if they want AD, that pick is gone.

And of course it's the Knicks, so they could trade the pick for a baguette or something. Ugh

That would be the best move.
But it’s the Knicks.

So the best move will not happen
