KC will pull their starters against Denver and lose to avoid Joe Burrow in the 2nd round.

Why don't you tell us, since you end 90% of your posts with "lol". As a Bengals fan, it's just another way for the Chiefs to screw us again, but this time, indirectly. But of course, we'll lose to the Steelers, so it will not matter anyway.

It’s retarded to think a team that has won the last 2 SB has locked up the 1 seed will bench their starters, not because teams typically do that once they’ve locked in the top playoff spot but to avoid a team that will at best be 9-8 and an extreme long shot just to make playoffs and they have beaten 3 times in a row

The NFL has always been about risk mitigation.

If you don’t think these things are talked about and factor into decisions then you may want to analyze what other things you’re wrong about in your daily life. That’s a dangerous way to live being that clueless.

Maybe I'm misremembering but wasn't there some wacky three way tie scenario a few years back where two teams could guarantee each other making the playoffs if they tied, but if one of them won (and some other stuff happened) they could have both been knocked out?

The Chiefs decided on Wednesday after securing the 1 seed that they would rest starters vs Denver.

Bengals still need Colts to lose a game and I don’t see that happening.

I think the starters will play some. They will have a minimum of 24 days between games if they don’t play. That’s an eternity. So look for them to possibly play until halftime but no more than that

I agree. It’s about keeping the players ready and healthy for the playoffs. Chiefs couldn’t care less about who they’ll be playing.

The Bengals need the colts to lose to either the Giants or Jags. Goodluck with that one. Also do you see the Jets or Browns beating the Dolphins?

Would you rather play a Joe Burrow led Brngals w/ chase and higgins and now a TE threat and playoff experience or the Broncos

This is a silly argument because the Bengals need a lot more than just the Broncos losing. First off, they'll have to beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh which won't be easy.

Agreed the Bengals need help to get in regardless.

But I asked who would the Chiefs rather play?

And a Denver win closes the door on Cincinnati and you get to rest your players

My only issue is the will have been off since Christmas day till jan 18 or 19th
