I’m gonna elect to rustle a few jimmies this Christmas. I think mahommes is kinda overrated.

I think he does the spectacular as well as anyone. It’s the mundane he seems to struggle with at times. Kinda remains to be seen if he can elevate players on his team. He’s benefited immensely from having arguably the best play caller in recent memory, a HoF TE and the most unique WR in a generation.

Bottom 5 wide receiver core. And no I am not counting Kelce as a wide receiver. No one is getting open. Resulting in Mahomes holding onto ball and running for his life.

Outside of Rice, I don't think any other WR should be back. I could support Moore or Toney as a 5th or 6th wide out bc of cap considerations.

As a chiefs fan, this is hard to watch. All out of sorts this year. Kelce is slower.

KC fans are so fricking entitled, booing the team down 17-7

Yeah, he's no Brees in that regard.

Everyone wants to put the blame on his not having great recievers, but Brees never needed the best receivers, he made his receivers. most had mediocre careers after leaving Brees.

Doesn't look like Mahomes can do that. Looks like he needs great receivers to make him great instead of him making receivers great.

I hope if the chiefs score again that they give a ball to that kid that was taunted by Jones of the Raiders

He won a super bowl last year with Juju as his top WR. The same juju who was benched this year by one of the worst offenses in the NFL.

KC has by far the worst WRs in the NFL right now. There's a difference between needing "great" WRs and needing actual NFL caliber WRs. There are college teams with better WRs.

They are legitimately terrible. They look clueless out there and can't get open to save their lives. Fortunately for the Chiefs, the incoming draft class is as deep as it's ever been at WR.

Kelce isn't a top 5 TE anymore and I'd guess he won't be top 10 or even top 15 next year. Ton of good young TEs all over the league now

You are paying mahomes now
The supporting cast will be tough to sustain
It’s why the 49ers need to capitalize with purdy and this window

Mahomes is missing a lot of passes too. He’s not without fault here. Rice is a good receiver that would start for most teams

Ironically they only won because of a flag “that shouldn’t be called in that situation” before throwing a tantrum and crying about an obvious offensive offsides being called in a regular season game

Can’t watch so checked the score on ESPN app, only highlight of the game is “Taylor Swift arrives to Chiefs’ Christmas Day game with Santa”.

Hope they lose every game for woke Kelce.

Early in the first, 3rd down, Mahones had an open field in front of him and an easy first down, but he looked and chose a pass that was not catchable.

After the ESPN discussion of the Jaguar's Lawrences turn over early last week, will ESPN give Mahones the same treatment?

I noticed about 30 minutes ago they aired a Pfizer commercial during this game but it WASN'T the Kelce version.

Wonder if that's possibly a coincidence or if there's feedback that they are considering.

That's hilarious considering he leads tight ends in yards coming into this week, with one less game played. Is he in his prime? No. Is he a top 2 tight end. Absolutely.

What in the world is going on with KC?

It's the offense.

- lost their OC to Washington and replaced him with Nagy.

- Whiffed on Skyy (?) Moore and has no true down field threat.

- Father Time starting to nip at Kelce's heels.

- When Kelce is your only true receiving threat it's easy to take him away. Same thing happened to a prior incarnation of the Chiefs when their only true offensive threat was Jamaal Charles.

- trading for players that had more baggage and problems than upside (Toney, D. Smith, J. Taylor).

I could go on, but the truth is that the Chiefs defense has made that team look better than they actually are this season.

They'll make the playoffs, but I doubt they make it past the second round. They just don't have the offensive chops this year, and the defense is wearing out.

And I say that as a 25+ year Chiefs fan.

IMO they need another post-season offensive brooming out like what happened after they lost to the Bucs in the SB. And they need to start with the OC. Do that and 2024 will look much better.

Oh, and pay whatever it takes to keep Chris Jones and Sneed.

And draft Brock Bowers...
