It’s a legitimate complaint. He will not win big games until he learns to do it with his arm too.

I’m not going to cast him aside completely, but he’s got a long way to go in that department.

I think the real question is how many deep routes did they call? They have been calling everything conservatively recently.

They’re obviously not asking him to do much through the air, even though they needed it today. 17 completions for 123 is not good.

Mac has fallen apart mentally. Bill handing him a failed defensive minded HC as an offensive coordinator doesn't help.

Do you even watch Bears games? It’s pretty obvious you don’t. They don’t ask him to push the ball downfield. They run the shite out of the ball and then call short to intermediate passes because his supporting WR core is absolute shite.

His WRs drop dimes all the time.

That’s the garbage he’s constantly throwing too. I’ll have to see if I can find the link, but I’m pretty sure PFF has some measure about WRs creating separation and the Bears are by far the worst.

Let’s be real. None of the 100+ ppl in here who have downvoted have actually watched the Bears. Fields looks incredible and he’s only going to get better

That second video from that angle shows what a damn fine throw that was. Wow.

He’s not incredible, passing game needs work but he’s improved.

He can definitely take the same year 3 leap that Jalen has considering they’re pretty similar players. But Fields has a bigger arm.

Bears need to get more than Claypool for him next year and he can take a big step forward.

Fields has the unique ability of both arm and leg attack that I don’t think this league has seen since Vick. He’s fast AF and just a great overall rusher. But also has an absolute cannon. Fields can make every throw on the field.

People just aren’t catching on yet because the Bears suck arse. But yes I do agree they need to get him more help.

Just a reminder for all the haters and losers.

Justin Fields last 5 games:

11 total TD. 2 INT. 100.5 rating.

1,306 total yards. 851 passing. 455 rushing.

Broke Michael Vick’s rushing record for a QB with 178 yards in a game.

Fields has a better arm/better deep ball. Lamar is shiftier/quicker.

All of them suck. If you can't figure out how to play qb in the NFL by year 2, then you obviously suck.
