This is probably my biggest pet peeve with him. Anytime someone sets a milestone or something of the like he never lets them have their moment. He has to be the center of attention and interject himself and make it all about him.

I mean y’all are kinda taking his words out of context. Lebron isn’t saying he’s a rocket scientist. He isn’t even saying he’s smart. He’s just saying he’s educated about what he speaks about. He speaks about racial issues mostly, which you don’t need a degree to be educated about.

"Has an understanding" how? He knows what it's like to be black? To grow up in a black community? That still doesn't make him an expert on the issues that black people face. "Cops are hunting black people" isn't something that any educated person who actually cares about studying an issue would say.

Given who all he supports politically, faked a hate crime, supports China’s record of human rights abuses, incorrectly compared himself to Emmett Till and he supports patently bad examples (Alton Sterling, Jacob Blake, Breonna Taylor, Colin Kaepernick, Michael Brown) to make points about the black community, I do not agree with your conclusion about LeBron’s understanding about the black community, more a misunderstanding
