Question to Allen voters: if Lamar had 0 MVPs in an alternate world, would Allen still be the favorite against Lamar's historic season? Of course not.

Hard disagree.

Compare points per drive for their offenses.

Lamar is joined by 4 other pro bowlers on offense
Josh is joined by 1 other

Frick the stats

JA is playing with a lackluster cast around him and is absolutely carrying them

It’s JA if it is truly gonna be called “most valuable player”

Give it to Jamarr Chase. Only fourth ever triple crown.

Why did Lamar win his second MVP?

You can't win mvp if you're objectively 3rd best at your position.

Totally deserves a mention. So does Barkley.

Them two and Burrow are all having a hell of a season carrying their offenses.

Think I’d have to lean towards Burrow, but all three have really balled out and been great this season.

MVP my vote is for Jared Goff if I vote. I don’t believe they plug in a backup and have elite success. I know he won’t win it. But just throwing another deserving name in. Ravens could hand to Henry and make playoffs and lose first game without Lamar. Bills who knows that div blows

John Elway won it in ‘88.

Drew Brees broke the passing yards in a season record in 2011.

Who got it? Rodgers in a great but less impressive season because his team was 15-1.

2011 Stats:
Rodgers = 68.3%, 4,643 yard, 45 TDs, 6 INTs, sacked 36 times

Brees = 71.2%, 5,476 yards, 46 TDs, 14 INTs, Sacked 24 times

Only place Rodgers beat him was INTs and that was because Rodgers focused on stats and took a bunch of sacks rather than make a play that was risky.

So only reason he got it was the team record being better.

So, by those standards, Allen deserves it more.

I’d love to see Joey B or Saquon win it but honestly Lamar’s season is crazy good.

It’s been too long since a white qb won it. This is still America and Allen needs to win it for the good guys

Yes it would still be Allen. Because MVP isn’t about all personal accomplishments but also what surrounds you to attain those accomplishments.

Josh doesn’t have the overall talent around him that Lamar has.

This is what tips it in Allen’s favor for me.

Without him the Bills are a 4 win team.

The AFC East is the worst division in football. They were assured a playoff birth the moment Tua went down.

Josh Allen has played great and is deserving, but acting like they were not the favorites to win their division is disingenuous. There was a brief moment when the Aaron Rodgers/Jets Hype catapulted them to the favorites in the pre season, but after a few weeks it was obvious the bills would win the division for the 5th time in a row.
