It really is a shame that 104.5 took a massive step back by letting Jordy go. Listened to both this morning on my way to work and Jordys show is just much more informative while Hester and T-bob are arguing about their feelings on LSU baseball and talking about growing herb gardens in their windows. Jordy needs to get back on air asap

Check out Jimmy Ott’s Gametime at 6:00pm. It’s a great show!

Letting Jordy go was a massive mistake. Now you have two mediocre shows instead of one good one. Hester just ain’t it. Great tiger, seems like a nice guy, but nah.

I completely agree that the show has dipped. Tbob was ok as a side kick but is not a lead and I wanted Jordy back. But the comment above is spot on. Radio is dead and I can’t stand the format. I hope Jordy can make enough money to stay digital.

As terrible as Ott is at everything else when he is talking gambling he is pretty good and that’s how magically that show kind of works.

This. I was skeptical at first, but it’s probably my second favorite behind Moscona.

It’s like having two color analyst call a game. You need someone to guide them. They aren’t very good at running the show.

Hester was so bad when he first started and has gotten much better. I thought he was a really good fit with Hanny. Tbob is just an anchor on anyone. Gordy has to have a better option. He just seems like he's so unprepared unless it's a pop culture take then he puts everything into that. At least that's the feeling I get from it after what little I've heard from him.

Both Hester and T-Bob are sidekicks. That's the issue. The show isn't bad but it isn't good either. Not being able to work things out with Jordy was a massive failure. To be fair to OTB, I believe they are going to shine during football season.

It's a bit awkward how each show uses the same guests and recycles the same interviews.

So am I the only one that doesn't know the actual reason why Jordy was let go? I've read a bunch of theories but what's the real reason?

Yes but will he be able to hold on long enough for Baton Rouge to catch up to the future?

He was asked to take a pay cut (related to sales commissions) due to a station-wide revenue dip. He refused and tried to organize other on-air talent to push back.

The sponsor board gets more full each week, and the big names continue to come on his show. Jordy will be alright.

I’ll give T-Bob credit he is good during football season because football is his element and football season in general brings everyone up a little. The rest of the year when you really need your talent to pull you through he struggles and him and Hester get way too easily sidetracked on personal things in my opinion.

I like Jordy and think he is better than T-Bob and Hester, but his show got old to me. Jordy is a great interviewer, but I feel like the show lacks variety.
