Hoffman hasn't won in 5 years and oddly enough it was here. That is what you call a journeyman.
What do you seem confused about?
I guess the fact that he's 1 shot off the round of the day, and you asked if he'd choke. Shooting 65 and losing by 1 isn't choking

Spieth had a 3 shot lead on the back nine and Hoffman got it to within 1. He was about to choke it away but got lucky on 16 and 17. Are you even watching the same tournament or just BSing?

Hoffman is 6 under as well. Theyve both gotten some good breaks, but they're also both golfing their ball. There's a reason they've separated themselves from the rest of the field.

Yes, are you under the impression he should be making birdie on every hole? Again, he's about to putt for birdie to tie the lowest round of the day. He can't control Hoffman also playing really well

This is good news for Rahm and Thomas backers next week at the Masters. Doubt Spieth will jump Bryson though

I don’t think you’ve ever played golf at a competitive level before.

there's a bus stop right next to the 18th tee box...weird.

You sound like a stupid now.

Spieth was definitely iffy on defense down the stretch to let Hoffman back in it

He shot bogey free 33 on the back steering it into the clubhouse on 18. It's like some of you have never watched a golf tournament.
Most guys with 54 hole leads don't even win, much less separate like Hoffman and Speith did today.

Speith was clutch the entire back 9. The only issue was a slight pull on the 8 iron 2nd shot on 18, but that was to the safe side.
Not sure what tournament some in this thread were watching.

Yeah no kidding! Shooting a final round -6 66 is the definition of coming up big in the final round!

Man, I hope you do not get paid for your sports analysis because you sure suck at it. If so, so might starve.

Surely this is true and probably even more important to him as pointed out by one of the announcers, was getting back to playing championship golf after a 3 year drought since winning The Open championship. And he is pretty well set having earned $44 million in prize money already.
