Pistol doesn't have the length or physical ability to pass the ball like Lebron. Then add that Lebron might be the smartest basketball player(bb iq) to ever live and you have someone who surely is a better passer than Pistol Pete That's not to mention the competition and defenses that each went up against.
Just rub one out to Lebron, get it out your system, then pull up YouTube and actually WATCH Pistol Pete pass then get back to us.
But hurry before you have to rub another one out and get sperm bias again.

I tend to agree but wouldn't you say LBJ was a more efficient passer? His decision making is what sets him apart IMO. Pistol is my idol so hard for me to go against him.

How do you define “efficient passer”? By the ability of teammates to hit shots? Catch the ball?

Lebron only 20 times... discuss
how many assists did Jordan have in the playoffs? I would guess LeBron surpassed him long ago. Discuss

Making the correct pass/not turning it over. LBJ's decision making is unreal. Makes the right pass 9 outta 10 times.

How we know you're biased and subjective AF, I just said LeBron's one of the greatest practitioners of passing ever but the players I listed are better, more creative and fluid, Pistol and Magic would literally shake players out of their shoes same applies to Rondo, Cousy, Penny Hardaway and Larry

It’s easier for players with higher usage rates to rack up assists these days when defenses can collapse on players allowing allowing them to kick out easier passes.
Pete Maravich MADE the passes in his day - today those passes are allowed by design to get the ball away from players like Lebron (making them appear “right” or “easy”).

The game was certainly different. Makes it really hard to compare.

so why doesn't everyone do it? People that don't want to admit someone is great always find an excuse why what they do isn't great, when it is

Jordan and Lebron are two of the all-time greats and both on the short list of worthy GOAT nominees.
I glanced at a couple of pages of this thread and was reminded that people get way too critical of other's opinions.

From my view, LeBron's an evolutionary Magic Johnson relative to how he plays the game just a better shooter and defender, his and Ben Simmons' passing is so reminiscent of Magic it's literally scary so when people make the "LeBron's one of the all-time passers" argument I totally get that

so why doesn't everyone do it?
Does everyone have high usage rates with offenses designed around them?
There’s a reason superstars these days have inflated assist numbers across the board.
Westbrook, Harden, James, Curry etc

This from the resident Kobe Bryant shill.

What is there to discuss. Jordan is so far beyond Lebron, it isn't funny.

Yet he averages more turnovers per game in the playoffs than MJ and Bird with a lower usage rate than MJ, while averaging just 1 more assist per game than MJ and .4 more than Bird.

.5 turnovers to be exact. He’s also way more efficient on offense than Bird. 5 more PPG on just 2 more shots and again that’s with no illegal defense rule that MJ and Bird took advantage off. MJ is the GOAT in my book. LBJ is #2. LBJ also has a higher eFG% than both all while playing more minutes and in more games.

Does Kobe play now? Do these other players play in the triangle offense?
And yes, Kobe led the league in assists for SG for several years
