Jordan could def guard one thru four at a high level. maybe Lebron can guard some centres. But he doesn’t guard them often. So the “more versatile”?? Meh. Sounds good but In actuality no Jordan was the better defender.

Isn't this about winning?
Lebron's teams have a lower winning percentage when he scores 40+ than when he scores fewer than 40. He obviously prefers to be a facilitator first, but he's also the all time leading scorer in playoff history.
Jordan's teams needed him to score. Their winning percentage was higher when he scored 40+ than when he scored less than 40.

If Jordan had Lebron’s body he would’ve averaged 40pts a game and 20 rebounds for his career. And Lebron would be average nba star in Jordan’s body.

He wasn't as versatile of a defender as LeBron
Did you see the stunt he pulled last night just standing at the other end of the court

, wtf is this shite? Now we're discounting LeBron because he's built like a machine?

No but he’s definitely no Jordan. Jordan would’ve never shopped teams like Lebron. Jordan never once gave up on his team and if one of his teammates stayed down court like pouty arse Lebron does then Jordan would make sure that shite never happened again. Jordan is the best player, and leader of all times. And Lebron is just the best of his era.

Congrats, you have just made the shittiest point ever in the worst sports debate.

These same figs love Magic because he was good at passing

Lebron drops this series and he just needs to lose four more series in the first round to match Jordan's total first round exits.

quote:I've seen alot of people say this. I mean he can try to guard every position but I've seen him against guys like curry Westbrook and kyrie and 1. He hardly ever guards them and when he does he normally looks foolish. I would say he can almost guard every position but elite guards are really tough for him to handle
LeBron can guard every position on the court.

What about PRIME MVP Rose?

That was many many moons ago.

And it was only in a few minutes of crunch time, if I recall.
The "guards 5 positions" shite has been thrown around and romanticized A LOT

Foolish is way overstating that mismatch. Curry and Westbrook can score on anyone but you never have to worry about lebron being switched on to someone. That’s what people mean when he can guard anyone.
Coaches don’t hide lebron for reasons beyond giving him rest on defense. Any offenses hardly attack him in the way teams do to harden or curry (if we are talking superstars that struggle defensively)
Lebron during the Miami days was one of the best two players of all time. It sucks that everyone, myself included, hated those teams because he was unreal

Yah, Jordan’s primarily a scorer as a player, LeBron’s a versatile floor general who distributes almost as much as he scores this stat makes sense

And yet LeBron’s the all-time leading playoff scorer, not sure why the 40+ pt stat is being promoted
Posted on 4/21/18 at 11:01 am to ThePTExperience1969
Yet LBJ has only averaged one more assist per game than MJ did in the playoffs...
A floor general is Magic... a guy that could have scored 30 a game but put his scoring game secondary to facilitating.
