are you mad that he did not wd or that they possibly made the ruling only because it was tiger?

not mad, disappointed in tiger, if he wanted to go back and prove to people that he has changed he would have WD'd.

i am not sure anyone would wd in this situation. rules committee pulls you in for a meeting. you truthfully explain what happened. committee tells you there is a violation and you will be penalized 2 shots. committee also tells you that by a new and subjective rule, they can waive the DQ and have done that in this case. why would you wd?

If he would have WD the media would spin this saying he was butt hurt aout the penalty blah blah

So even with the rule change, do you think players should WD after signing an incorrect card? What's the point of the rule change then?
Serious question. Not a flame.

the rule change had nothing to do with tiger's infraction, they happen to use it to save tiger's arse. that is all.

they should be DQ'd like the rules say
Posted on 4/14/13 at 12:25 pm to KingRanch
even when the rules committee says one thing and changes their mind later?
Posted on 4/14/13 at 12:26 pm to KingRanch
It gives the final decision to the rules committee. It does have to do with Tiger signing an incorrect card.

your opinion. all the other governing bodies disagree.

they changed their mind because tiger admitted that he moved back to gain a competitive advantage. Immediate DQ should have happened. Period.
