Let's just say that this shite never happened.... People still wanted JoePa out but his team only has 1 loss this season.

As a player, how can you look the man in the face. I would refuse to play for him.

Whoop! congrats joe pa, do it your way how you want when you want! Don't back down to some bs you had nothing to do with, im proud of joe pa

PSU games are going to be a circus. That much is certain.

also this guy was 28 at that time??? 28! They are acting like he was some wide eyed 19 year old baby. A 28 year old sees a 59 year old doing that and his reaction is run away and call daddy. If I was related to a victim, I'd go find him and if i was a victim's grandpa, i'd go for Paterno.

All the players should feel this way, the fact that he is getting to finish out the season is a joke.

Exactly... so just fire him now.

I think Paterno is being extremely selfish putting himself above the program and the players he built up. Dude should step away for the sake of his players.
Posted on 11/9/11 at 9:15 am to Philosoraptor
If I were a PSU alum, I would not be satisfied unless Paterno was humiliated and his legacy destroyed. I'm talking statue torn down, etc. He should be summarily fired and banned from the facilities for life.
Every coach that was on staff when this occurred knows what happened. There is no doubt. You can't keep that a secret. I would fire all of them as well. Penn State would finish the season with graduate assistants coaching if it was up to me.

This quote pretty much sums up the whole situation. From a protest on campus.

Yep, he spent a few years bouncing around NFL training camps, NFL Europe and shite like that. He wasn't some turnip seed who didn't shite about shite.

I just want to know what Joe was told by the AD days/ weeks after he alerted him before I pass judgement. Not trying to defend him by any means, he is definitely wrong, my question is to what degree? Could he have been oblivious to the situation at his age? Who knows.

Agree. But I did hear this morning something about ginger growing up close to Sandusky, almost like close family friends and knowing him since he was a kid maybe? (uh oh) So in that context, his reaction to the situation might would be different than the rest of us. And I'm not surprised now that he called his dad. Not defending at all, just giving the full context of new info I heard this morning.

Once again JOE THE EGOTIST calls his own shot here. He should not be allowed to coach another practice much less a game. This is bigger than football.
Ridiculous. There will be circuses for the rest of the season at their games and deservedly so. POS
This is a tragic joke.
