Internets saying some teenager with an airsoft was running around on Joe's property at night and got shot

Can't really blame him if this is what happened. Late at night when it's dark, an airsoft gun could easily be mistaken for a real gun.

Seperate from this incident, he also charged with pointing a gun at a woman 2 months ago. No way Bengals keep him.

Twitter saying that he shot someone is quite the stretch.

Is it?

Yeah but it's advisable to positively identify your target as a threat before you pull the trigger, especially if he hasn't entered your home.

That’s not a real question.

This is not reporting…

This is reporting..

Police surrounded the home of Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon after deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the area late Monday night, Fox 19 Now reported.

No arrests were made and the scene has since been cleared.

Mixon’s involvement in the incident is still unknown.

Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin said last week that he doesn’t know if the Bengals will retain Mixon, who is under contract with a cap hit of $12.8 million for the 2023 season.

Mixon is talented, but I’m not using much cap space on any RB in 2023.

Agreed, Mixon will have to show he was under an imminent deadly force threat. Key details will be how was the kid carrying the gun? Did he make any threats to Mixon? How far away was the kid?

I’m pretty sure he lives in a nice white neighborhood, if this same thing happened in my front yard at night I wouldn’t start firing rounds out of my house

100% accurate on the neighborhood. They still haven’t confirmed he was there but the guy is a complete idiot regardless.

Confirms everything that was being reported by the news reports, but doesn’t do anything to validate the claims that Joe Mixon shot a kid

Exactly. We don’t even know if he was home. Some reports say it may have been neighbor house shot came from. But big names sell news/clicks so they used his name as part of story.

Where does anything say he was part of it? His house was but it may have come from next door house too. Making assumptions so early is never good. If he wasn’t home then what will you say?

Ok tough guy

Kids play nerf wars in my culdasac all the time, I wouldn’t ever even consider it was anything else. Even if they had realistic looking guns.

The sister of Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon denied her brother was involved in an Ohio incident that left a teenager injured Monday night.

Shelonda Mixon relayed the message to WLWT-TV as authorities in Anderson Township appeared to search the home of the NFL star after responding to a report of shots fired.
