Joe Flacco's success in Cleveland certainly is one of the more surprising subplots in a season full of them in the NFL.

Could people see more of Flacco in 2024?

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday morning that Flacco wants to play next season and has no current thoughts of retiring, according to sources informed of the QB's situation.

Rapoport reported on Sunday that before the Browns brought Flacco in for his November workout, zero teams had called this season. Several did once Flacco was on Cleveland's practice squad, but Rapoport reported it never was likely that a team would lure the veteran QB out of Ohio.

Why would he retire? As bad as he is he's still not the worst qb in the league. I'd take him over tannehill or Levi's.

Well, not shite. He's probably parlayed this season into at least a 1 year/$10 million deal next year. Who wouldn't take that when their short window to make a multi-million dollar/year salary suddenly re-opened after being closed?

He threw the dime pass of the day today.

If Flacco had any personality, people would have a higher opinion of him.

The league used to be filled with Joe Flacco (veteran guys who could cover in and steady a team and make a run.

Now it's filled with WRs and RBs and TEs playing QB who get hurt all the and are replaced by a poor man's version of Flacco who basically never get any reps to develop.

Theres a reason why the Flacco types alway existed in the NFL... And won.
