Joe burrow won nothing. Tom Brady could have totally reset the QB market at every contract. Had he left in FA, he could have got a team to give him whatever he wanted. To say he didn’t take less ignores that, without even parsing his contract details in New England, which rarely made him the highest paid player.

Mahomes is currently the 15th highest paid player. Biggest discount EVER

At least this thread didn't degenerate into the typical, "Jeaux has the worst OL in the league" mythology that keeps getting pushed.

That assumes he should always be the highest paid QB. It’s ridiculous No Qb does that

Wut?
The Bengals have won the AFC North twice with Burrow at QB and were AFC Champions in 2021. So, you know, he has won something.

Joe Burrow demanded a top-20 WR be paid top-5 money when he already had a top-3 WR.

He won an AFC championship. Tom Brady won 9.

Are you Tom Brady's agent? Tom Brady is/was awesome. What does that have to do with your statement 'Joe Burrow won nothing'?

Zac Taylor should have been fired a long time ago

The way they've managed their players & money is actually pretty stupid.

Instead of trading Hendrickson, at 31, they paid him 1/29mil - he's injured

Burrow, Higgins, and Chase have a combined 93mil cap hit

They drafted a player at 17 who's an athletic freak who never panned out to much in college, then becomes a disagreement with his contract (A ROOKIE contract). Now he's on IR. While the talented headcase James Pearce Jr gets picked 26th and has 8 sacks already

Zac Taylor produced the game plans and called all the plays that allowed Jeaux to amass the numbers that all the LSU fanboys on here love to crow about incessantly.

Those same LSU fans: "Fire Zac Taylor!".

Go back and look at Brady’s time in New England. He was consistently taking below market deals and left a lot on the table to secure better role players

And Craft was paying him under the table to more than make up any difference.
