"Contacted" has become a real stat via ESPN?

So does a hurry, a rush and a contact still not equal a sack combined?

You're either sacked or not.

Contacted...via phone? If you put a pinkie on a player is that contacted because we all know you can't touch QBs these days? Is contacted a penalty?

Only thing that shocks me is how many people here didn't know Cincinnati sucked.

You can bump several threads where people said it going back to December. It’s one thing if your team is picking number one because of a lot of key injuries and bad luck in one score games, but this team was mostly healthy and was just dookie butter. An overrated rookie QB wasn’t going to change that. You even had some idiots saying he would get them to 8-8 and possibly better this year.

I mean frick I want Carolina players to do well in the league, but I’m not going to abandon all logic and reason trying to justify them being great when they clearly aren’t.

I said then that the best case scenario for Joe would have been to fall to a team that had recently been to the playoffs and had some quality pieces: New England, Pittsburgh, or LaC. I may have even said the Colts.

But no, the Idiots that Be on here were all about him being the Franchise Savior and the clear cut number one pick and he was going to turn it around right away. And what’s happened? He got washed out by Tyrod Taylor and a guy named Baker.

From a Bengals point of view, they should have either 1. Traded that pick for a ransom and pick up the best available player with every pick or 2. Picked Andrew Thomas and gone balls deep on rebuilding that offensive line.

Here’s another amazing stat:
Nobody ever knew how often a QB was “contacted” through their first 2 NFL games prior to right now.

Also, I had no clue that Burrow’s performance warranted this kind of nonsense.

He really shouldn't be throwing it 61 damn times in games like this, just stupid on their part, they will get him hurt probably rotator cuff surgery or some shite. It's early in his career and these games are really kind of meaningless, so, you don't want him throwing the ball so much.

Based on your data, his avg rank for hits is 11th, so well above avg. Not sure what point you're going for here but you just proved that Matt Ryan gets hit less than most QBz.

And he finished @ 6th after 10 years in the league. If Matt Ryan @ 34 years old can take a beating like that Joe Burrito should be fine as a rookie.

The hand wringing I'm seeing by LSU fans is ridiculous and can someone please explain "contacts" to me? Is it legitimate hits + sacks?

It's over course of over 16 games and 10 seasons there and your boy has played a GRAND TOTAL of 2 games and you're pissing in your pants.

Burrow will be fine and he's also well compensated for any "contacts" he might
receive...it's part of the deal.

The higher the rank the more sacks/hit the guy took.

And you have the gumption to question me on anything.
