Over the last 15 seasons, only Cam Newton was contacted more through his first 2 games. (via @ESPNStatsInfo )

Sad, because his body will wear down soon. Just like Luck, Cam and Carr etc.

I'd really like to see the NFL have a developmental type program for the Oline. With the Brady's, Brees, Roethlisbergers on their last legs, the league needs to keep their young players healthy.

it's time for Burrow to demand a trade.

Good luck with that. He's stuck there for at least 6 years with the Bengals having a 5th year option and franchise tags. Carson Palmer demanded a trade and he had to quit football for a trade to happen.

He threw it 61 damn times, who the frick wouldn’t have 300 yards? Lol

Jesus y’all can’t handle your own failures. And where did that lead you? Back to me, telling you the truth and doing this...

Oh no, poor dude is breaking down right before our eyes.

You hate to see it.

I feel ya'. Reading the title of thread, I wondered who was trying to "contact" Burrow so feverishly and why they couldn't get through.

You're creating threads about Joe Burrow after 2 games hoss. You shouldn't be throwing stones.

Yeah, I know he's stuck. I just want better for him. He's an elite QB and he'll never reach that status playing for the Bengals.

Hope I’m wrong but I don’t see him making it through the whole season taking this kind of punishment

David Carr made it and he was sacked a record 76 times.
Burrow will be fine

All those delicious excuses.

Please tell us exactly what point you are trying to make here.

Anybody who is not a moron can see that Cincinnati's offensive line sucks. This isn't an "LSU homer" take... it is a "No shite, Sherlock" take.

Even Aikman said last night late in the game that if the Bengals were going to invest their future in Burrow, then they were going to have to protect him better.

What did some of you expect? 99% of the teams that have a #1 pick had to completely suck to get it. Did some of you really think Burrow was going to turn around a trash franchise as a rookie?

A wise man on the SECr said this before the season started:

quote:

Everyone knows that LSU fans are going to blame all of Burrow's subpar games on his teammates while claiming that all of his accomplishments are due to his talent alone for as long as he lasts in the league.

And y’all took less than a week to emphatically prove him correct.
