What’s funny is you beating your chest like you did something. Louisiana Tech dominated conference USA and is just collateral damage of ESPN crushing its competition.
It wasn’t like Louisiana Tech moved up to conference USA and fell flat on their face. They did everything they could to be successful in apparently the only place it doesn’t matter, the actual field.

I don't know if the full story of the last several months will ever come out, but I will say the administrations in Monroe, Jonesboro, and Lafayette all lobbied for LTU to come with USM and Marshall and ODU to the East. It's the reason I mentioned a few days ago CCU and App would possibly join CUSA if JMU and Liberty were to make that move. Those two schools strong armed the West and it came down to USM being a better geographical and culture fit with the West. The SBC is a good conference and the additions strengthen them as tier 1B/2 behind the MWC moving forward IMHO. Just know that all the power for decisions in the conference is now firmly planted on the eastern side.

Louisiana Tech is about to hit some rough road. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out for their administration.
I clearly see independent status in football and it would be amazing for them…but where do you park the remaining sports? Heck, at this rate, if. CUSA dissolves, Tech won’t have the money to remove the CUSA logos from their fields or courts.
This is a perfect example of why you don’t hire a SJW to be the leader of any important entity. She was completely caught off guard and left to rot by 8 members.
I am going to try to find and read the CUSA minutes from earlier this year - should be entertaining.
