Say what you want about his Michigan coaching career, but he's been successful at every stop as a HC including a Super bowl appearance.

Good thing Miami didn’t go after him because of principles so someone else could get him.

yeah, he had a great run in SF.

that roster also had a lot more talent especially on defense compared to what he's fixing to inherit.

three really good seasons then an 8-8 season and peace out.

I don't know, it is just I could also see what appears to be not as good of a job backfiring here is all I'm saying.

It's not a terrible job either. They have some great skill players to work with. Defense needs complete work though.

Not questioning his decision to leave, i mean do what you want, I guess.

Harbaugh is a much better option than Raheem Morris. Patrick Graham and Kevin O'Connell are fine young coaches but Harbaugh has some track record of NFL success.

BoB is an NFL guy IMO. he just goes to the college game to wait for the right opportunity in the NFL to pop up

he'd be 10x worse in terms of annual NFL job rumors than harbaugh

BOB as a coach isn't horrible...he just was a shitty GM

If Rodgers leaves GB, I think Harbaugh would win the division the first few years and look good. If not, he is probably stuck with 9-7 type teams and out in three years.

I heard he was consulting with Bobby Petrino on how to handle the decision...

These are actual coaches though. Harbaugh has never been a coordinator at any level. He is a tone at the top guy, not an X's and O's guy. Greg Roman and Vic Fangio were the architects of that 2011-13 window. Unfortunately for him in SF his players weren't keen on that tone long-term and tuned out.

He quit at the best imaginable time for his W/L record. Another 2 years in SF and he'd never be considered for jobs now.

never claimed he was a bad coach. just stated that he's better suited for the NFL game, and that's what he seemingly prefers

Dude took the Niners to the Super Bowl with Knees at QB. They’ll be fine. Hell if Rodgers does leave, they’ll own that division for awhile.

1. That was Harbaugh's hand-picked guy, so easy on the dig.

2. A lot of you have foggy memory about how no one had answers for Kaep mid-2012. Roman was on point then just as he's gotten the most out of Lamar Jackson.

Harbaugh's done cool stuff on offense too since, I guess.
